SHOOTING
TURAKINA RIFLE CLUB GRANT CH’ COMPETITION The Turakina Rifle Club’s fifth competition for the Grant Cup was fired cn Saturday. The weather conditions were not favourable for shooting as there was a fairly strong cross wind blowing. The ranges were ten shots at 800 yards and 900 yards. J. Kelly put on the possible at each range, the first double possible to be registered on the range. The following are the scores: J. Kelly, 50, 50—100; C. Baldwin, 47. 47 —94; H. Goile, 48. 46—94; R. Wilkie, 44, 48—92.
