OHAKUNE AMBULANCE BRIGADE

SUCCESSFUL DANCE. (Own Correspondent) OHAKUNE, Feb. 14. There was a large attendance at the Ohakune Ambulance Dance held in the Railway Hall Ohakune. The position of M.C. was in the capable hands of Mr. Polkingham while the lady members of the committee were in charge of the supper. Mrs. Leckie provided the music for the dancing. The winners of the various competitions were as follows: —Monte Carlo, Miss T. King and Mr. D. Ellis. The competition (for the first couple up on the floor for each dance) Miss M. Medhurst and Mr. Barnard. First prize in the competition was won by Miss N. Kelly.
