PURCHASES BY BRITAIN AND FRANCE. CHIEFLY MILITARY PLANES. Received Feb. 11, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 10. It is officially revealed that Britain ’ in January obtained export licences : for the purchase of 4,000,000 dollars worth of military planes, chiefly for training and observation purposes. France imported 1,250,000 dollars worth of war materials in the same month.
