[ British Official Wirelees. ] Recevied Feb. 13, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 11. A statement by Sir John Anderson, Minister of Civil Aviation, says that the widespread distribution of portable shelters, which will undoubtedly afford a very substantial measure of protection in the event of air attack and which have the great merit that they can be produced and distributed in very large quantities in a shejrt space of time, is not to be allowed to prejudice consideration on their merits of other forms of protection. Numerous proposals and representations in favour of particular forms of protection have been received in the Lord Privy Seal's Department and are under close and continuous examination.
