LORD PARMOOR

RESIGNATION FROM LABOUR PARTY. LONDON, Feb. 10. Lord Parmoor has resigned from the Labour Party owing to the expulsion of his son, Sir Stafford Cripps, and general objections to the Labour policy. Lord Parmoor, who was raised to the peerage in 1914, is now 86 years of age. He consented to become Lord President-of the Council in'the first Labour Government in 1924. He filled the same post in Mr. Ramsay MacDonald’s Labour Government of 1929-31 and was also Leader of the House of Lords.
