LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE
l I*WARD TENDENCY IN PRICES. POSITION MUCH EASIER. (Independent Cable Service.) Received Feb. 10, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 9. The city views the general inter-
national position as distinctly easier. Stock exchange prices are showing an upward tendency and the volume of business is slowly improving While observers expect minor setbacks, they believe a real market rally is at present under way. Gilt-edged stocks are slightly firmer though irregular, due to some holders tending to switch to high-class industrials.
