ARAB CASE OPENED
A CONCISE STATEMENT SOME PROPOSALS MADE Received Feb. 10, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 9. Yakub Effendi Farraj is still in Palestine, and has been summoned by telegraph. Nashashibi is unwell, and was unable to attend to-night’s conference at St. James’ Palace, when the Arab case was opened by Jamal Husseini, cousin of the Grand Mufti. It is understood that a concise 20minute statement included some proposals. It has been decided that Dr. Weizmann’s statement on behalf of the Jews yesterday, and Prince Husseini’s to-day, shall be published to-morrow, when the conference will be occupied by the British Government’s comment on Dr. Weizmann’s statement. The next meeting with the Arab delegation has been fixed for February 11.
