GIFTS TO PRINCESS
PEOPLE Ob' HOLLAND UP-TO-DATE DWELLING LONDON, Jan. 12. The Netherlands nation's wedding gift to Princess Juniana and Prince Bernhard was officially presented on January 6—on the second anniversary of their marriage. The gift consists of the rebuilding and furnishing of the right wing ui, Soestdijk Palace, the Royal couple-; residence near Hilversum. An up-to-date dwelling has arisen ( from the old-fashioned Royal apartments, once the residence of the late Dowager Queen Emma. Steel furniture, central heating, a cinema hall nursery, bathrooms, gymnasium, tennis courts and a swimming pool are some of the amenities installed. All clases and groups of the population have contributed to the work. Women undergraduates of Leyden University, where Princess Juliana was a student, presented the furniture in the Princess’s private room. ; The Dutch Red Cross has given the | Royal couple a domestic medicine I chest.
