PAPANUI ANNUAL PICNIC

ARRANGEMENTS DRAWN IP. (Own Correspondent) PAPANUI, Feb. 8. A meeting in connection with the annual picnic and sports was held on February 2, when the committee was elected. A. Revell was elected chairman, J. Revell secretary, Mr. R. G. Davis patren and Mr. J. McHardy president. Vice-presidents elected were: H. E. Price. H. H. Harris, A. Wilson, T. C. Revell, F. R. Howie, D. McGuinn, A. Mair, F. R. Rogers, T. McGuinn. Picnic to be held on Mr. R. G. Davis’ property on Saturday, February 18. A programme of horse jumping, foot and novelty events was drawn up. The usual arrangements of providing refreshments free on the grounds was decided upon. An orchestra is to be engaged to play . f "r the dance' in the evening.
