RESULTS OF MATCH AT WEEKEND. (Own Correspondent.) SANDON, Feb. 7. Results of the tennis matches played by the Sandon Club during last weekend with the Rongotea Club are as follows—Rongotea players being mentioned first:— A Team. Mens Singles.—Gooch won from Hammond, 6-2; Aird won from F. Meyer, 5-6; Slattery won from R. Meyer, 6-4; Lumsden lost to Bradley, 2-6. Women’s Singles.—Miss Scott lost to Miss L. Lumsden, 4-5; Miss Fyfe won from Miss M. Butler, 6-4; Miss Fraser lost to Miss J. Butler, 2-6; Miss Bowater lost to Miss Gedye, 2-6. Men’s Doubles.—Gooch and Aird won from Hammond and F. Meyer, 6-2; Slattery and Bradley won from R. Meyer and Lumsden, 6-4. Women’s Doubles.—Miss Scott and Fyfe won from Misses Lumsden and M. Butler, 6-2; Misses Fraser and Bowater won from Misses J. Butler and Gedye, 6-3. Mixed Doubles. —Gooch and Miss Scott lost to Hammond and Miss Lumsden, 6-1; Aird and Mrs. Fyfe lost to F. Meyer and Miss M. Butler, 6-5; Slattery and Miss Fraser won from R.
