FORDELL-MANGAMAHU BRANCH A meeting of the Fordell-Manga-mahu branch of the W.D.F.U. was hold in the board room of the A. and P. Association at 1.30 p.m. on February 3. The president, Miss MacDonald, presided, others present being Mesdames McLean, Woolven, Christie, J. Polson Aitken, Morgan, and Wells; alsc
Misses Wyley and Williams. Apologies were received from Mesdames White, D. Sutherland, L. Campion, and Misses Watkin, Marsaille and MacDonald. The garden party was arranged for March 4, this being the date on which it would be least likely to clash with other functions. Mr. Wyley has very kindly loaned his grounds for this occasion. Two remits were put to the meeting, one being rejected and the other passed to be forwarded to the provincial executive. General business was then dealt, with and further details for the garden party arranged. The meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the chair.
