FATAL INJURIES
UNUSUAL ACCIDENT FARMER STRUCK BY FALLING DOOR [ Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 6. Fatal injuries were suffered bj Walter Wright, aged 67, farmer o. Springston, when he was opening the door of the granary on his farm Wright was standing on an elevated platform on the building and hac partly opened the sliding door which became unfastened from its rollers He was thrown to the ground by the weight of the door and a bolt projecting from it entered his head. - He was found by his son a few minutes afterwards and taken to the hospital, where he died this evening.
