KAIAPOI WOOLLEN MAUFACTURING COMPANY.

In the Exhibition Hall is to ba found the Kaiapoi Wcollen Manufacturing, Company's 'stand. It is a magnificent display "of colonial enterprise. The stand-is 30 xlO -feet,-;and. is without doubt one of the attractions of the show. The goods on display comprise the various articles the company manufacture. The company pride themselves on their manufactures,/ which are all pure wool. No cotton or shoddy is used in any shape or form. Their rugs, which are know throughout the Empire, form a-very interesting portion of the exhibit. Men's and boys' clothing is another, leading feaFure with the company. Their display shows from the smallest juvenile*"suit in qui^e. a variety of smart styles to the men's ; sizes, which are. represented by some very smart, well cut tailor-made read-to-wear clothing. The hosiery stand has quite a variety of, articles of everyday wear for ladies and gents' use. Ladies' vests, combinations, lipckey jerseys, divided skirts, and hosiery. Men's shirts , pants, sweaters, sox, cycling hose, pyjamas, etc.,, men's" tweed alpine hats and golf and cycling caps, in a large variety of shapes and styles. Blankets and flannels are, of course, well known throughout New Zealand, the word "Kaiapof 5 being a sufficient guarantee of their quality. The ladies' tailor-made costumes form a very attractive portion of the exhibit, judging by the thronged attendance round that

portion of the stand. There are displays of half a dozen specimens of ladies' costumes in the newest up-to-date styles, in shades of light grey and cream, and are without doubt a very useful as well as attractive costume. The company is certainly to be complin.erjted on its very excellent exhibition of colonial enterprise, and we are pleased to see the whole of the exhibit has been purchased by a local dealer, who evidently knows the public appreciation of the Kaiapoi goods..
