Beef, fine 28a &d, medium 26s 6d. Silver, 2s 4 11-16 d. Received October 19, 10.10 a.m. SYDNEY, October 19. Greasy wool sold up to 14d, a record for the season. MELBOURNE, -October 19. Afc the opening of the wool sales there was a large attendance, and good competition. Compared with last year's opening rates, good merinos sold at 5 to i 0 per icent. higher, and crossbreds and lambs 10 per cent, higher. Faulties sold at par, last season's greasy to 12£ d. and scoured to 24sd.
