Yielding to the request of the leading members of the profession and others of distinction, including very high personages, the Very Rev. Robinson, Dean of Westminster, 'has consented to Sir Henry Irving being buried in the Abbey on Friday. He will probably h<& buried near Gannck's resting-place. The theatres will not. close, in deference to Sir Henry Irving's known wishes. Received October 17, 9.45 p.m. LONDON, October 17. The Prince and Princess of Wales, condoling with Sir Henry Irving's family, hoped the universal sorrow exhibited would prove some degree of comfort. The Baroness Burd-ett-Coutts offered her Piccadilly house for the purposes of the funeral.
