CAPETOWN, October 16. A German patrol numbering thirty defeated a band of Hottentots under Chief Ellas at Upper Thub. The Hottentots became panic-stricken, 40 being killed.
A hundred and fifty Witeboa's, who crossed tth© Beohuanaland frontier, have been interned eastward.
