LONDON, October 17. The Agents-General were present at the Post Office ceremony.
Replying to an address, King Edward •expressed the greatest intei'est in the efficiency of the P/xst Office. He hope.! that improved inter-communication would fisrdst to bind the Empire and establish peace and goodwill among the nations. Be was specially pleased at the institution of the- Saving Bank, as it widely encouraged thrift -among the workers.
