WELLINGTON, November 27. The conference of delegates of the, Post and Telegraph Officers' Association, which has been, sitting during the week, concluded its session this evening. At an interview with the PostmasterGeneral to-day, a number of matters were discussed.' Most of the suggestions ir.ade by the Conference were favourably received. An improvement in. tho status of some of the officers of the service was indicated by, Sir Joseph Ward, who promised to give further consideration to a few standing grievances. He expressed his appreciation of the moderation shown in the proposals submitted to him. . ' Last night the delegates were entertained at a large gathering of officers. The Postmaster-General and the heads of the Department were present.
