At a conference of Australian underwriters held this afternoon it was decided to adopt a general tariff for homeward and outward shippiag, applicable to the whole of the colonies. The conference also resolved to accept the New Zealand underwriters' tariff for New Zealand ports. (Received June 20, 1 a.m.) SYDNEY. June 19. The New South Wales inscribed loan of three millions sterling was placed on the London market to-day. Tenders will be opened on the Sth proximo. (Eeceived June 20, 3.30 p.m.) LAUNCESTON. June 20. An inquiry has been held into the circumstances attending the wreck of the ship Asterope, at Low Head. The Court has found the captain guilty of noglect, but the final decision has not yet been come to.
