(rkuter's telegrams.; (BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. — COPYEIGHT.) (Received June 20 ; 1 a.m.) LONDON. June 19. Iv the House of Commons last night Sir Stafford Northcote moved that the Eight Hon. John Bright committed a breach of privilege in the course of his recent address at Birmingham, in accusing the Tories of being in alliance wirh Irish rebels. The motion, however, was rejected. The representatives in London of tho North British Borneo Company have denied the truth of the report current yesterday regarding the massacre of the Company's employes by the natives of the island. Tho Agents-Gensral of the Australasian colonies are strongly urging the annexation of the New Hebrides Group by the Imperial Government. The difficulty in the way of carrying the project into execution consists in an agreement between England and France to refrain from annexation of the islands in the Pacific. (Received June 20, 12.30 p.m.) The cargo of frozen meat by the ship Lady Jocelyn, from Wellington, has arrived in good condition. The first portion of the mutton was sold to- day, and realised 6j4 per lb. The homeward mails via Brindisi, from Melbourne, May Bth, were delivered to-day. (Received June 20, 3.5 p.m.) Telegrams are to hand reporting that an English marabout is preaching a jehad or holy war in south-west Egypt. A Tunis despatch on the subject adds that the Egyptian Government has already despatched a body of troops to I the locality to effect the capture of the marabout and his followers. (Received June 20, 3.30 p.m.) Intelligence has been received that the ultimatum submitted by the French commander has been rejected by the Malagasies, and that the French troops consequently advanced, and captured Tamatave. The Customhouse there has been seized and occupied, and the Hovas have fled before the advancing troops.
