VOLUNTEER INTELLIGENCE.
The usual monthly competition for the first and second clas3 of the Wanganui Rifles took place at the rifle range range last Saturday. The following are the -scores: — .
. The first class fired five shots at each range, and the second class seven. Only two more competitions have to take place. The Railway Department have declined to make any concession in charge by rail for contributions to the proposed Benevolent Institute Carnival. Tho remainder of Hon.
