NEW ZEALAND RIFLE ASSOCIATION.
(per united pbess association.) ■Wellington, Oct. 20. Up to this evening the secretary c the New Zealand Rifle Association ha received the following entries : — Aucli land 14, Taranaki 3, Patea 1, Wangann 2G, Marton 2, Wellington 51, Greytowi 1, Napior G, Gisborne 2, Thames 11 Nelson 14, Marlborough 13, Christchurci 9. From places south of Canterbury in formation has been received of a larg number of entrances, from Oamaru the Lakes, Inyercargill, &c, but a these names will be included in thi Bunedin list, the total number of entrie cannot be determined at present. M; Stevens, the secretary, leaves here fo: Dunedin by the Rotorua on Monday ti make the necessary arrangements fo: tha meeting. Entries will not fiualh close until the 28th iust.
