COMMERCIAL

Messrs Barns and Wilson held a good sale on Saturday, at which a large number of lots of goods were disposed of at satisfactory figures. Mr Chadwick's mart was well attended on Saturday, notwithstanding the adverse state of the weather, and every line was quitted at fair prices. To-morrow, Mr Chadwick will sell, on distraint for rent, the furniture and stock of the Wangaehu Hotel, unless the claims preferred shall have been satisfied. On Wednesday and Thursday, various sales will take place, particulars of which appear in advertisements, to which the attention of those interested is directed.
