COLDS & TUBERCULOSIS

RECIPE FROM SOUTH AFRICA The following recipe for bronchitis, colds and tuberculosis is recommended to a Masterton resident by a friend in South Africa: “Simply get an atomiser and a solution of menthol and olive oil from a chemist. Start the bulb working, put to each nostril and to the mouth, inhale slightly and exit the cold in a few hours. “Do the same for tuberculosis, only inhale deeply. The cough stops in three weeks and the disease in three months. Kerosene and oil makes an even better mixture. One part of kerosene to four parts of oil. People need not let tehir relatives suffer from T.B. when it is so easy and cheap — under 10s—to cure pre-hospital cases.”
