WING COMMANDER LOVE. GALLANT WORK IN DEFENCE OF KOS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.20 a.m.) RUGBY, December 28. Wing Commander R. C. Love, who commanded the defence of the Aegean island of Kos, has been awarded the D.S.O, From the airfield of Antmachia, he directed the air and ground defences and also air transport operations, although it was daily subjected to heavy bombing and machine-gun-ning attacks. •
