GREYTOWN
DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL PARENTS’ DAY TOMORROW. (“Times-Age” Special.) ‘'Parents’ Day” at the Greytown District High School will be celebrated oil Thursday. A display in connection with the new physical training scheme will be of-interest to parents. There will also be the usual display of handwork and hobbies. , Personal Items. Mr J. C. Feast, of Ahikouka, is at present in the Greytown Hospital. Miss I. Askew, of the staff of the Greytown school, has received an appointment in the Nelson district. Advice has been received that Sister Gladys Hughes, who was reported missing for nearly two years, is a prisoner of war in the Dutch East Indies. Sister Hughes, who was well known in nursing circles in the Wairarapa before the war, joined the Australian Nursing Service on the outbreak of war. Her sister is acting matron at the Greytown Hospital. TOWN HALL TWO BIG FEATURES. There will be two brilliant dramas shown tomorrow night, “Madam Spy” (starring Constant Bennett and Don Porter) and “North of the Klondike" (featuring Brod Crawford and Andy Devine).
