U=BOATS AGAIN ACTIVE IN' CARIBBEAN FIVE SHIPS SUNK DURING PAST MONTH SMALL VESSEL TORPEDOED FEW DAYS AGO LONDON, December 12. German U-boats are active in, the Caribbean Sea again. Five ships have been sunk in this area during ■ the past month. A small merchant ship was torpedoed a few days ago. glra». w-nrp— — -sSubmarine attacks were resumed early in November in this area. Until then, it had been comparatively free of U-boats for nearly a year.
