A stylish performance by Lord Chancellor in winning the Te Awamutu Cup was the highlight of the Waipa Racing Club’s summer meeting on Saturday. Lord Chancellor carried 9.13 and put up a track record of 2.3. yet he appeared to win with a little in hand. The conditions for racing were excellent, the weather being sunny and the course fast.
