BUTTER FACTORY AREAS

NEW ZONING ARRANGEMENTS IN WAIRARAPA EKETAHUNA CLOSED DOWN Butter factory areas in the Wairarapa have been rezoned by Sir Francis Frazer, deputy chairman of the Executive Commission of Agriculture. The new zones, which are to operate immediately, aim at eliminating all overlapping in collecting supplies. Under the new arrangement, which is being put into effect at once, except for a necessary period .of adjustment in some cases, the Eketahuna factory has been closed.

In future, the Featherston factory will take supplies from Morison’s Bush southward, the Masterton factory from Morison’s Bush to Rangitumau and the Mauriceville factory from Rangitumau (but including Te Ore Ore) to the Eketahuna area. Cheese factories are not concerned in this new arrangement.
