LITTLE THEATRE SOCIETY
“FLAT TO LET.” FINAL PLAY-READING FOR YEAR The Masterton Little Theatre Society held its final play-reading for the year in the society’s hall last evening with the presentation of a three-act comedy, “Flat to Let,” by Arthur Macrae. The play was full of amusing situations and clever dialogue, an experienced cast giving an excellent interpretation of the roles allotted to them. The cast was: Mrs Coney, Mrs T. Jordan; Carol, Mrs N. Lamont; Tony, Mr J. Cunningham; Minna, Miss W. Reed; Susan, Mrs Nicol; Lord Java, Mr H. Mackenzie Douglas; Alan Plowman, Mr J. M. Lawson. The stage director and the director of pre-reading was Mr J. A. Kennedy.
