ARRESTED BY NAZIS

VICHY “PERSONALITIES” INCLUDING THREE FORMER MINISTERS. INTERNED IN GERMAN VILLA. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.25 a.in.) LONDON, November 26. It is reported from Lyons, says the “Daily Telegraph’s” Zurich correspondent, that the Gestapo has arrested various personalities in Vichy Government circles, including three former members of Marshal Petain’s Cabinet. The prisoners are at present interned in a villa in Germany, but are being courteously treated. It is explained that they have not been guilty of any particular offence, but that their policy might some day turn out to be dangerious to Germany. z The Paris radio reports that M. Taittinger, president of the Paris Municipal Council, has appealed to unessential partisans to leave the city because of the critical food situation.
