CHURCH SERVICES

The Holy Communion will be celebrated in St. Matthew’s Church tomorrow at 8 a.m. and at Upper Plain at 9 a.m. Archdeacon Rich will preach at St. Matthew’s Church at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Capt. H. Sutcliffe, C.A., will conduct the services at Kuripuni at 7 p.m. and at the Public Hospital at 3 p.m. Services will be held at the Baptist Church at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. tomorrow. In the morning the subject will be “Preparing for God.” In the evening Pastor D. R. Edwards will commence a special series of addresses, tomorrow’s subject being “Is Religion Reasonable?”

The Knox Presbyterian Sunday School will hold its anniversary celebrations at both the morning and evening services tomorrow. Scholars and members of the Solway College Choir will render special music. The services at the Masterton Methodist Church tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. G. H. Goodman, and at the Kuripuni Church by Major Dick. An address will be delivered on Sunday in the Ruhamah Gospel Hall at 7 p.m., the subject being “The Only Foundation of Lasting Peace and Happiness.”
