LAMB AND FLOWER SHOW LIST OF PRIZE-WINNERS. . (“Times-Age” Special.) An enjoyable time was spent recently at the Te Whiti School’ when a lamb and flower show was held. The judge of the lamb competition, \Mr T. Harvey, of Messrs Thos. Borth‘wick and Sons, Ltd., made the following awards: —Exportable lamb: Kathleen Rogers, 1; Tony White, 2; Bernard Patrick, 3. Heavy fat lamb: Kathleen Rogers, 1;, Tony White, 2; Joy Gundesen, 3. Care and handling: Tony White, 1; Kathleen Rogers, 2; Joy Gundesen, 3. ’ . • Miss MacDonald judged the flowers, "the awards being as follows: —Decorated bowl: Barbara Rutene, 1; Joy Gundesen, 2; Eetty Bradley, 3. Buttonhole: Nan Bunny, 1; Dorothy Baird, '2; Joy Gundesen, 3. Three best pansies: Joy Gundesen. 1; Bernard Patrick, 2; Dorothy Baird. 3. Six best poppies: Bernard Patrick, 1; Bernard Patrick, 2; Dorothy Baird, 3. A stall in aid of the Junior Red Cross Society was well patronised. In short speeches Kathleen Rogers, Joy Gundesen and Bernard Patrick thanked the judges, the ladies’ committee and the organiser for their services.
