WOMEN’S INSTITUTE SUCCESSFUL DANCE (“Times-Age” Special.) At a successful dance and card party, held by the Women’s Institute, the card prizes were won by Mesdames Swainson and Riwai, Senr. (ladies) and Messrs Bruce Priest and J. Duggan (men). Competition* winners were: Sucking pig, Mr Wakelin (Wellington); mystery parcel, Mr F. Seward. The Monte Carlo dance was won by Miss D. Duggan and Mr W. Herangi. Mr Mclntosh was M.C. and Mr Matenga supplied the music. The proceeds will be devoted to the soldiers' parcels fund.
