SOUTH FEATHERSTON

WAR SERVICE COMMITTEE EUCHRE PARTY & DANCE. (“Times-Age” Special.) ■ The fortnightly euchre party and dance held in the South Featherston Hall by the War Service Committee was well attended, there being visitors present from all parts of the Wairarapa. The music was provided bj’ Mr T. sUdy’s Orchestra, and much appreciated extras were played by Mrs A. Gain and Miss N. Tocker. The Monte Carlo waltzes were won by Mrs Cherry and partner and Mr R. Burt and Miss E. Higgison. The euchre prizes were won as follow: —Ladies: Mrs Wakely, 1; Mrs Rasmussen, 2. Men: N. Burt, 1; C. B. Cheer, 2. Supper was served by a ladies’ committee. A mirror donated by Mrs Tyer was won by Mrs G. Gain. Personal Items. Miss J. Blain, South Featherston, has found it necessary to enter a private hospital, for treatment.Mr W. Hocquard is a visitor to South Featherston.
