WOLF CUBS
ACTIVITIES OF MO KATOA PACK. INTER-SIX COMPETITIONS. At the weekly parade of the Mo Katoa Cubs there was a good attendance. In a ball-throwing competition, the combined strength of the Green six and the Yellow six beat the combined strength of the Red six and the Grey six. After some lively games, Cub work was carried out. At the close of the parade the Cubmaster,_ Miss O. Curry, invested L. Cox, who is now one of the Pack. The Green six having gained most marks in the past month, were presented with the inter six competition shield for October. The Green six has now won it twice. Senior-sixer K. Camden and Sixer D. Corry passed the Guide proficiency badge recently. The Cubs will take part in the parade of youth organisations on Sunday. All Cubs are asked to be at the Den at 2 p.m., in full uniform. On Saturday, November 20, the Mo Katoa Cubmasters will hold a combined meeting of four Cub Packs. The Cubs taking part will be St. Matthew’s No. 1 and 2 packs, Carterton pack and the Mo Katoa pack. A visiting Scouter from the Hutt will probably be in charge of the programme.
