INTERHOUSE AFFAIRS
GALA DAY ARRANGEMENTS
COMPLETED AT MEETING * LAST NIGHT
The executive of the Wairarapa Interhouse Association last night held its final meeting before the gala day on November 27. It was reported that there was every prospect of the gathering being a brilliant success. Officials for the day were appointed and the sports programme was finalised. Officials of the Masterton Amateur Athletic Club will conduct the sports programme. Arrangements were completed for the dance to be held in the evening in the American Red Cross Service Club rooms. It was considered that it would be a good opportunity for local residents to visit the club rooms. The sale of programmes containing details of every event will be arranged differently from last year. The assistance of the management of the Regent Theatre in the holding of a concert on Sunday night, November 21, was acknowledged with thanks. The box plan will open shortly. Arrangements were also made for the Sunday afternoon musical and marching display by the Trentham Band.
The committee would be pleased to receive donations of cash, etc.
