ROTARY CLUB

WEEKLY LUNCHEON MEETING. The weekly luncheon meeting of the Masterton Rotary Club was held at the Y.M.C.A. today, the president, Mr E ,G. Coddington, presiding over a good attendance of members. . Mr A. L. Peterson, of the Palmerston North Rotary Club, was a guest of the club. Mr E. M. Hodder drew the attention of Rotarians to the work the Y.M.C.A. was doing in reference to the Youth Week, commencing on Monday next, and appealed to all present to give their support to the movement for the good of the youth of the town. The speaker for the day was Mr W. L. Butler, who took for his subject “The Cathode ’Ray” and how it works. The address was listened to with the keenest interest, and on the motion of Mr John Bouzaid the speaker was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for his informative talk.
