A Yugoslav army communique says: “We are continuing heavy fighting against strong German forces on the Serbian-Bosnian frontier. One section liberated 800 Italians. We inflicted heavy casualties in repelling Germans who were attacking towards Tuzla. Allied planes attacked the Germanheld ports of Ploca and Metkovic and also German positions on the Pejesac Peninsula. We heavily defeated and beat back Germans attempting to capture Breznica.”
