USEFUL HELP
GIVEN TO UNITED STATES BY RED ARMY.
TRANSMISSION OF MILITARY INFORMATION. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright NEW YORK, November 3. Red Army experts have been supplying semi-official American military publications with valuable information on the fighting on the eastern front, says the Washington correspondent of (he “Daily News.” Russia’s voluntary and hitherto unsuspected co-operation, is verified by Lieutenant-Colonel John Coleman, editor of “Field Artillery,” a journal which has printed a number of Russian articles. Similar material has been furnished to other service publications specialising in technical military information. Veteran Red Army officers discuss German tactics and Russian countermeasures which are calculated to help American officers in training. The “Daily News” adds that an extraordinary aspect of the matter is that the Russians have not wasted time forv.arding the material through the usual military and diplomatic channels. When they thought they had something hot they wirelessed it direct to American editors.
