INTERHOUSE GIRLS
STRONG COMMITTEE SET UP TO ASSIST EXECUTIVE A well attended meeting of representatives of business houses and teams was held by the Wairarapa Interhouse Association last night. Borthwicks, Hosiery Mills, Steam Laundry, Woolworths, C. Smiths, Hugo & Shearers, Cathies, W.F.C.A., Wairarapa Transport, Rolphs, Hansells, Bouzaids, Combined Businesses, Hospital Indoor Staff, Combined Garages, McKenzies, F.C.D.C., W. V. Madden’s and P. and T. were represented. A strong committee was formed, of which Miss .G. Baird was appointed secretary, to act in conjunction with the interhouse executive. A further meeting of the girls’ committee will be held next Wednesday night in the room above Mr C. Spier’s library in Church Street. Many matters relating to interhouse day will be discussed.
