OBITUARY

MRS ROBERT JUDD The death occurred at her residence in Masterton this, morning of Mrs Margaret Louisa Judd, widow of Mr Robert Judd. The late Mrs Judd, who was born at Greytown 73 years ago, was a daughter of the late Mr Thomas Cotter of Silverstream. Mr Cotter had a farm of 800 acres at Silverstream ,which included the present site of the Silverstream College. Mrs Judd, like her husband, who was a prominent figure in local body administration, took a keen interest in community affairs and her many kindly qualities endeared her to a wide circle of friends. She was a life member of the Masterton Plunket Society. She is survived by two daughters, Mesdames George Wagg (Masterton) and Hodgins (Opaki). The funeral will be a private one.
