Miss M. Sellar, who had been on a visit to Mastertoil for a few days, has returned to Paraparaumu Beach. Mr and Mrs A. H. Daniell, AlbertStreet, Masterton, have returned from a visit to Paraparaumu Beach. Mrs F. Moss, who had been visiting her mother, Mrs W. McKenzie, Essex Street, Masterton, has returned to Huntly.
- Mr and Mrs J. Wright, Colombo Road, Masterton, have received advice that their son, Flying Officer Hugh Wright, has been promoted to Flight Lieutenant.
The engagement is announced of Nola, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs N. A. Prussing, Martinborough, to Maurice Leonard, second N.Z.E.F. (on furlough), fifth son of Mrs and the late Mr J. McCarthy, Martinborough.
