GREYTOWN
PERSONAL (“Times-Age” Special.) The funeral yesterday of the late Mr Jas. F. Wallis was largely attended. The cortege which included a number of Odd Fellows left the Presbyterian Church after a service conducted by the Rev. H. Bloomfield, of Featherston, and formerly of Greytown, who aflei wards conducted the service at the graveside. As the funpral passed the lire station the bell was tolled by Superintendent Carter. The Odd Fellows' service at the graveside was conducted by P.D.G.M. Bro. C. J. DeLacey. The pall-bearers were'Bros. W. F. Bairstow, A. J. Lindop, R. J. D. Wallis, C. J DeLacey, F. Dennis and Mr N. S. McLeod. Many beautiful wreaths were received. TOWN HALL “WUTHERING HEIGHTS.”" Tonight 'there will be shown the brilliant romance “Wuthering Heights,” from the book written by Emily Bronte, which caused a sensation in England some ninety years ago. The principal characters are taken by Merle Oberon, David Niven and Laurence Olivier. The associate picture is Edgar Wallace’s sensational story, “The Squeaker,” starring Ann Todd and Edmund Lowe.
