GREYTOWN

RED. CROSS SOCIETY MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. (“Times-Age” Special.) At a meeting of the executive of the Greytown sub-centre of the Red Cross Society there were present: Mr A. Hotyon, Mesdames Jury, Bunny, Gregor, Knell and Thompson, Misses Wood and Oxford. The main business was to discuss a clothes-drive to be held in the near future.

It was decided to hold a meeting of all ladies interested on Thursday, November 11, at 3.30 p.m. in the Red Cross Society’s rooms to discuss the possibility of forming a sewing circle to deal with any sewing that might be necessary as far as clothing for refugees was concerned.

TOWN HALL NEW PROGRAMME. A new programme will be presented at the Town Hall on Tuesday night.
