WINTER SEASON CLOSED
LIST OF TROPHY WINNERS
The closing of the winter season at the Riverside Golf Club was held on Saturday. -** The president, Mr- A. Carstens,, welcomed the many visitors and members. Mr Carstens said that probably they would keep the course playable throughout the summer. The results of Saturday's play were: Mixed fourball: R. Bell and Mrs Emery. Putting: Mrs Naan and W. Palamontain. Long drive: Miss J. Dixon and J. 1 Gallagher. The trophy winners for the season were: Men’s senior championship, R. Bell: men’s intermediate championship, G. Longworth; men’s junior championship, H. Bannister; president’s trophy, C. Dixon; captain's trophy, R. Callander; Bullick-Blackmore trophy, T. Bell; Keisenberg trophy, R. Bell; sealed net score, A. Levick; Ist medal, T. Bell;. Ist fourball bogey, R. Wearne and A. Carstens; mixed fourball. J. Wakelin and Miss J. Dixon; 2nd rAedal, J. Ewan; 2nd fourball bogey, R. Bell and J. Kerslake;.3rd medal, W. Gilliland; ladies' senior championship, Mrs Rawlins; ladies’ intermediate championship. Mrs Brown; ladies’ junior championship, Mrs Wells; president’s trophy, Mrs Rawlins; captain’s trophy, Mrs Rawlins; Bullick-Blackmore trophy, Mrs Gilliland; Keisenberg trophy,' Miss J.
