WEEKEND PLAY MAHUNGA CLUB. RESULTS GF LADIES’ GAMES. A medal competition was played by the lady members of the Mahunga Golf Club on Saturday, the best &ore being Mrs D. A. Hunn, .96-26-70. The final of the junior championship was played at the weekend, the winner being Miss M. Gaynor, who defeated Miss B. Frost. The winner of the net aggregate competition was Miss W. Reedi MEN’S CHAMPIONSHIPS. . ' G. R. WARD AND E. A. EARP SUCCESSFUL. The final round of the net aggregate competition was played on Saturday?' R. B. McPherson being the winner with a net score of 283 for ttye bestfour rounds. ■'>• ' ' The best scores returned for a 'stableford bogey were: A. E. Friend, 36; A. Welply, 36; G. Duff, 34; G. Wagg, 32. Playing in .the final of the captain’s trophy, H. M. O’Connor defeated R. B. McPherson. The finals of the,club’s senior and junior championships were played during the weekend, playing being over 36 holes. In the senior contest G. R. Ward defeated R. B. McPherson. In the junior contest E. A. Earp defeated G. B. Young. The final of the club’s intermediate championship between H. M. O’Connor and J. Brand will be played during next weekend. The winner of the Brockett trophy for this season’s play is J. Price. MASTERTON CLUB MATCH AGAINST HUTT.
