RAIN IN WELLINGTON
FIVE VERY WET MONTHS (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Wellington rainfall for October was just over 8 inches, against the normal 3-J inches, making the fifth wet month in succession. The rainfall to date this year is 52.57 inches, some 40 of which have fallen since the wet spell began in June. The year’s excess to date is about 16 inches.
