2010 PARCELS PACKED DURING MONTH. BIG SUPPLY OF KNITTED GOODS SENT AWAY. The secretary of the Masterton Women’s Patriotic Committee reported to the monthly meeting that the district s quota of 2010 parcels had been packed during the month. Several committees came to Masterton to pack parcels at the local depot at the Town Hall. It was decided to pack the next quota in the third week of January. During September, the following knitted goods were sent to Wellington from the Wairarapa: 348 balaclavas. 120 pairs of socks, 336 pairs of mittens, 462 scarves, 12 pullovers and 348 hussifs.
