SUGAR RATIONING

SECURING OF NOVEMBER SUPPLIES Consumers will require to re-register for sugar before securing their November supplies. A consumer may register with any retailer, not necessarily the retailer with whom he is already registered. Registration will be effected by the consumer filling in his name, address and ration book number on the “S” counterfoil of sheet 2 of the ration book and handing it to the retailer. The retailer will cut out the counterfoil, enter his name and address in the appropriate space on the inside front cover of the ration book and note the ration book number, the consumer’s name and the commodity “sugar" in his register.
